First of all, Happy New Year to all members and website visitors. 2022 was a busy, action packed year and we expect 2023 to be no different.
You’ll have (if you’ve opted in to emails) received our monthly branch newsletter for December and, on 2 January, this month’s, reminding you of upcoming events and, importantly, the deadline for Good Beer Guide (GBG) voting.
You have until 11 January at the latest to return your voting forms – make sure you do, as your favourite pub, bar or club could depend on your vote to appear in the Good Beer Guide 2024.
A note to licensees and staff of our branch area hostelries, feel free to remind your CAMRA member regulars that it’s voting time; it’s been the busiest time of the year and people do forget.

Forthcoming Events
This coming Saturday, 7 January, we have our visit to The Firs Brewery in Codsall. This will be followed by a visit to Codsall’s pubs! We’d love you to join us, simply meet at 11:15am in The Goose, Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton to catch the 11:50am bus into Codsall. Alternatively, meet us at The Firs, Codsall, at 12:30pm.
Our next branch meeting is on Thursday 12 January at The George Wallis, Wolverhampton, at 8pm. We’d like to see members new and old for our first branch meeting of the year!
