After an absence of five years, the Wolverhampton CAMRA branch magazine, BEERWOLF, returned on 1 February at The Firs Club, Codsall’s national Club of the Year presentation. In truth, five years have passed in the blink of an eye – but a lot has happened at branch level in that time, much of which is covered in articles here on the website.
The magazine comes in a familiar format, with coverage of news and events and sees the return of the favourite pub images centrefold, perfect for browsing while supping a good pint of ale. Sometimes nothing beats a physical magazine – a break for your eyes away from glaring screens.
BEERWOLF can be found in all GBG2025 pubs and clubs in the area while supplies last, as well as many other pubs known for serving cask ale and real cider and perry.
On the subject of screens though. all issues of BEERWOLF from 2010 until this new issue 40 can be found here on the website and, as a bonus, we’ve added issues 7 and 15 (old paper versions of the magazine) for some real nostalgia! If you are in possession of BEERWOLF magazines that we don’t have shared here, please get in touch.

The goal is to have as close to a full collection as possible available online as we build our Wolverhampton CAMRA history for all members and non-members alike.
The next issue of BEERWOLF will be released around late June / early July and will be jam packed with local pub and brewery news as well as national news and events. If you represent a pub or a brewery and would like to advertise, please get in touch on beerwolf@wolverhampton.camra.org.uk or via Facebook Messenger.
A huge thankyou to all advertisers in issue 40, alongside our distribution team without whom BEERWOLF would not be possible.
Cheers!
