Tickets Now On Sale – Wolverhampton Summer Festival of Beer & Cider 2026

Wolverhampton CAMRA is delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for the Wolverhampton Summer Festival of Beer & Cider 2026, taking place from Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th July 2026 at the Wolverhampton Arts Centre.

This year’s festival promises three days of great beer, cider, perry, conversation and entertainment as we celebrate not only another fantastic festival, but also a major milestone in the branch’s history.

A Special Year for Wolverhampton CAMRA

While this will be the 49th Wolverhampton Beer & Cider Festival, 2026 marks the 50th anniversary year of Wolverhampton CAMRA, making this year’s event particularly special.

To commemorate the occasion, a special 50th Anniversary Festival Glass will be available for festival-goers, kindly supported by our main festival sponsor, Springbanks Brewery.

In addition, Newbridge Brewery will be producing a special Wolverhampton CAMRA 50th Anniversary Ale, so be sure to keep an eye out for that among the festival bars.

This Year’s Festival Theme – Celebrating a Wolverhampton Transport Milestone

This year’s festival theme marks the 100th anniversary of a significant moment in Wolverhampton’s transport history.

On 13th July 1926, two six-wheeled double-deck buses entered service, both built by Wolverhampton’s own Guy Motors Ltd. at Fallings Park.

One of these pioneering vehicles entered service in Wolverhampton itself and earned “pride of place” as the first six-wheeled double-deck bus to enter service. It was also fitted with an enclosed upper deck, an important step towards the fully enclosed double-deck buses we know today.

To celebrate the centenary of this achievement, this year’s festival artwork features one of these historic Guy buses, accompanied by our friendly festival mascot, the Beerwolf, who has taken on the role of driver for the occasion. Don’t worry though — there’ll be no drinking and driving for him at this year’s festival!

Beer, Cider, Perry and Entertainment

As always, visitors can look forward to a huge selection of quality cask ales, ciders and perry from across the region and beyond.

Thursday will once again provide a more relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal day for catching up with friends and enjoying a quieter session.

Live entertainment returns in the large marquee on:

  • Friday evening
  • Throughout Saturday

with a great line-up of singers and bands helping to create a true summer festival atmosphere.
