Welcome to this website for the Wolverhampton Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. Ours is one of the oldest branches of the campaign.
The Wolverhampton branch of CAMRA covers all of the city of Wolverhampton and parts of South Staffordshire. Use our links on the left to find out more!
CAMRA has over 175,000 members across the world, and has been described as the most successful consumer campaign in Europe.
CAMRA's campaigns include promoting small brewing and pub businesses, reforming licensing laws, reducing tax on beer, and stopping continued consolidation among local British brewers. It also makes an effort to promote less common varieties of beer, including stout, porter, and mild, as well as traditional cider and perry.
While CAMRA does campaign on beer standards and a fair deal for those who drink in pubs and those who work in pubs, we welcome members and non-members to get involved in branch events: the most exciting, of course, being our annual beer festival.
